We can use a sewer camera to scope and video record the interior of the sewer line to identify any significant findings such as obstructions, damage, root intrusion etc., that can or may hinder the performance of your plumbing system’s proper drainage. Pricing is based on cleanout access.

I am purchasing a new home, why would I need an inspection?
Purchasing a new home is no guarantee that there are no problematic conditions. Although less frequent, major defects with roofing installation, structural issues, moisture intrusion in the crawlspace, and other problems may be present. It is best practice to inspect any home you’re purchasing and be informed on the true condition which will only be revealed during the inspection process.

Do you do sewer scopes and other similar inspections?
Yes we do offer sewer scope inspections at an additional fee! In addition, our general plumbing inspection that we perform gives emphasis on running the water at the showers tubs and sinks for several minutes to evaluate whether or not any signs of inadequate drainage are present. Do you inspect for mold?
Yes we look for visible signs of staining which may be an indicator of mold, particularly as it relates to the interior living space in the home. If we see signs of mold like staining, it can be an indicator of a significant moisture problem, which falls into the scope of a whole house inspection. We generally will do a passive moisture test with a moisture meter to get a fuller scope of the condition. However we are not a mold assessment company. Our inspection gives emphasis on visible signs of a mold like substance. We cannot advise you on whether or not a particular condition poses an environmental risk, nor could a mold assessment company based on visible appearance or color alone. Any staining which appears to be a mold like substance always has to be laboratory tested to confirm whether or not harmful strains of molds present an environmental concern to the interior living space.

Yes. We are licensed by the state of Oregon and the Construction Contractors Board. Were also certified as an Inter-NACHI certified inspector. We are bonded and insured and carry professional liability insurance.
